Meet Magento Poland 2014: Hospitable Warsaw Invites Guests

This year has been very eventful for Magento and brought us many new contacts, networking meetings, and valuable discussions within multiple dedicated events. Several local communities started their own conferences and presented their countries to the entire ecosystem in a passionate and ardent manner.

Bit by bit the current year comes to the end and the train of Magento events is gradually hiding around the corner. But this late autumn we still have an opportunity to visit some more countries before the Christmas holidays and today we direct our feet to Warsaw, Poland.

Poland


Poland, officially the Republic of Poland, is a country in the center of Europe, bordered by Germany to the west, the Check Republic and Slovakia to the south, Ukraine and Belarus to the east, and Russia and Lithuania to the north. Poland has an access to the Baltic Sea with the length of the coast line about 440 km.

Poland is the birthplace of multiple famous people: Nikolai Kopernik, Frederic Chopin, Maria Sklodowska-Curie, Pope John Paul II (Karol Wojtyla), Adam Mickiewicz, and many-many others. Polish cities and towns are famous for their unique architecture, which absorbed and retained all European styles. Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk, Malbork, and Torun are only several famous cities of Poland widely known for their castles, buildings, and monuments among tourists worldwide.

Warsaw


Warsaw is the capital of Poland and its biggest city. Located on the Vistula River, Warsaw is the 9-th most populous European capital city. The estimated population of the Warsaw Metropolitan Area is about 2.7 million people. The first historical mention of Warsaw dates back to the 1313 year, and today it is one of the most famous international tourist destinations and significant economic centers.

Meet Magento Poland 2014


This is the third edition of Meet Magento in Poland, which traditionally brings together numerous domestic and international speakers. As usually, it is going to be a two-day conference (November 24-25) divided into two tracks – business and development ones. At the end of the first conference day the organizers invite all the participants to join them at the event party for an easy communication and networking.

In accordance with its format, the conference invites business owners and representatives, e-commerce newbies, digital agencies, service providers, as well as Magento developers, project and product managers, and everyone, who is interested in e-commerce and Magento. Welcome to Poland!

Location
This year the conference is hosted by Hilton Warsaw Hotel – an ideal residence for business conferences and leisure. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, 15 minute walk away from the Old Town and 20 minute drive from the Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport.

The Board of Speakers is incomparably numerous and diverse this year and includes multiple Magento and e-commerce experts from around the world.

Agenda
The agenda of the conference is full of valuable presentations and highly qualified expert views on e-commerce, online sales, multichannel and email marketing, promotions, conversions, customers’ experience, Magento design, integration, and migration.

Except main tracks, the conference will also include a workshop focused on sale promotions, shopping carts abandonment and customer recoveries.

Tickets
Today all comers can still acquire tickets at the regular price - 149,75 euros per ticket. The price includes VAT.

Developers Paradise 2015 Announcement


The winter edition of Developers Paradise will start on January 11 and last three days, till January 14. The event is going to be located in Karpun, Austria – famous tourist destination at the foot of Kitzsteinhorn Glacier.

The conference hotel Vötter’s Sportkristall is located in the heart of Karpun tourist area. Delicious accommodation and leisure facilities include comfortable rooms, indoor pools with waterfalls, saunas, etc.
